Raheem & Son is a heritage rug house founded in 1927 in Bhadohi, India, the heart of the country's hand-knotting tradition. For almost a hundred years we have made hand-knotted, hand-woven and hand-tufted rugs in wool, silk and natural fibres for buyers, designers and homes around the world.
We are a large-scale handmade rug manufacturer and exporter, built for bulk, wholesale and contract volumes. Our weaver network spans the Bhadohi to Mirzapur carpet belt, supporting rapid sampling, reliable production lead times, and OEM, private label and white label supply at scale.

What is the difference between Raheem & Son and RS Contract?
Raheem & Son is the house for collections, custom rugs and export buyers. RS Contract is the trade arm for architects, interior designers and hospitality groups who need large-format, bespoke and OEM rugs engineered to a project specification.
Where are your rugs made?
Every rug is made by hand at our looms in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, the historic carpet-weaving region of India, using wool, silk, cotton and other natural fibres.
Do you sell rugs online or work with the trade?
We are an export-driven house. We do not sell single rugs through a checkout; instead we work with buyers, designers and bulk and contract clients through enquiry, sampling and a gated trade programme.
Can you make a custom or bespoke rug?
Yes. We make custom rugs from a drawing, CAD file or palette, including large-format and seamless pieces for hospitality and architecture. Tell us the size, technique and timeline and we will guide you from sample to production.
Has Raheem & Son received any government recognition?
Yes. In 2009 Raheem and Son received the Four-Star Category Certificate from the Directorate of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh, in recognition of its industrial achievement and its standing among Bhadohi's serious export manufacturers.
